Lip & Cheek Rouge

This lip and cheek rouge harkens back to a time when makeup was much simpler: one product on the cheeks and on the lips, and you're ready to go!

Shades

Each gorgeous shade is named after a trailblazing Canadian woman: 

Abigail: An angelic glow, use as a highlight on cheekbones, eyes or lips. Named after Abigail Becker who saved 8 shipwrecked sailors in 1854.

Charlotte: A natural nude, subtle and earth-inspired; an unsuspecting favourite. Named for Charlotte Small, the wife of surveyor, map maker and explorer David Thompson, who together are credited for exploring and mapping Canada. 

Nellie: A muted mauve (some may see it as dark pink with some red), the perfect natural shade for fair and light skin tones. Named for Nellie Mclung, a famous Canadian suffragette, and one of the Famous Five. 

Isabella: A creamy pinky-peach, perfectly suited for anyone who wishes for a touch of warmth. Named for Isabella Crawford, one of the first Canadians to make a living as a freelance writer.

Harriet: A lovely berry, positively striking on any skin tone. Named after Harriet Tubman. Born a slave, Harriet escaped slavery and eventually made her way to Canada. She was instrumental in freeing dozens or more slaves. 

Maud: A pretty pink, absolutely the sweetest, naturally pigmented rose. Named after Lucy Maud Montgomery, author of the well-knows and widely loved Anne of Green Gables series. 

Viola: A true cool pink, so classic and sophisticated; a natural pop of bright colour. Named after Viola Desmond, who is credited with starting the civil rights movement in Canada by refusing to move from the whites-only section of a movie theatre in Nova Scotia. 

How to use

Using your clean finger, gently apply as blush or lip stain.

Abigail is best used as a highlighter in spots that catch light, and enhance your natural features: on cheekbones and temples, down the bridge of your nose, under brows, the inner corners of eyes, and above the cupid's bow.
